CHIDDFEST will be back again in 2022 after the success of 2015,2017 and 2019 events.
The ticketed family event will showcase live staged music from local performers plus loads of great food, refreshments and activities for the children.
The concept of CHIDDFEST originated from the success of the Village's 2012 Jubilee celebrations on The Village Green. It was then in 2014 that a mum at St Mary’s school had the idea to put on a similar event, but this time ticketed with the aim to raise as much money for the school. In 2015 over 1,500 people came to the event, raising over £19,000. All this money has enabled the school to purchase iPads for every class, improve the outdoor learning facilities and invest in other projects in the School. The money was also distributed to the other local youth groups, including the Village Nursery, Cubs, Scouts, the Youth Club, Chiddingfold Youth Football and Chiddingfold Youth Cricket Club and Messy Church allowing them all to improve their facilities.
Chiddfest 2020 will again be a ticketed family event with live staged music and performances. There will be activities for children including a bouncy castle, face painting, art and crafts and so much more. We will be bringing back the Fizz Bar serving prosecco all day, plus the Beer Tent serving local ales, and a gin cocktail bar run by The Winterton
